About the Artist
Linda W. Saparoff
Everything changes: coastlines, countrysides, population, lifestyles, and generations. Picturing nature and familiar locations on painted canvas brings me pleasure and hope for future generations.

Linda Saparoff is a native Bostonian with a long held interest in the fine arts and nineteenth-century landscape paintings. She has a BA degree from Northern Vermont University in History, and a Master's Degree from McGill University in 19th Century British History. Lin has attended multiple painting courses throughout New England and has studied with a variety of exceptional painters including Maddine Insalaco and Joe Vinson of New York City and Italy; Karen Winslow and Andrew Orr in Vermont; Kenneth DeWaard in Maine, Don Demers on Cape Cod, and has found the personal encouragement, private classes, and group teaching of David P. Curtis of Gloucester, Massachusetts invaluable to her work.
A long-standing member of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Lin resides both in Barton, Vermont and the Cayman Islands with her husband. Linda is represented by the Kennedy Gallery, Cayman Fine Art on Grand Cayman Island and has been an artist member of the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville, Vermont. Over the past years, her work has been exhibited in annual and juried shows in both the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Vermont and in Massachusetts at the Rockport Art Association and Museum. Linda's paintings are shown annually at the Kennedy Gallery on Grand Cayman in the British West Indies.
